SUSTAINABILITY – What a year 2024 was for Apollo Healthcare Technologies Ltd!

Many think sustainability is just about putting a carbon footprint in place but it’s not and community contribution also plays a big part.

April 2024 – We were proud to sponsor and support Gomersal & Cleckheaton U10’s Football team as they participated in the ESF football tournament held at Butlins Skegness. The first team played fantastic and actually won the tournament, securing a place at the national finals held at St. Georges Park (Home of England’s national teams) in June 2024.

April 2024 – following sponsorship in 2018-2023 of Shaw Cross Junior Rugby League club and their successful French exchange tours, we were pleased to support Yllan Mongay of Villeneuve XIII Leopards Elite Rugby on his visit to the UK for Trials with Huddersfield Giants Rugby League whilst also gaining valuable work experience in our warehousing and production area during his visit.

August 2024 – Following on from France’s U19’s win over England U19’s in July and successful finalists in the European cup in August, David Locke CEO of Apollo Healthcare Technologies Ltd  made the decision to sponsor the French U19s for a tour of Australia where they would play 3 games in less than 3 weeks starting with the first game against Sydney Roosters.

The tour of Australia proved a huge task playing against players who reign supreme in the world and going down in their first game to the Roosters 52-4 with the only try scored by Yllan.

Moving into game 2 the young French team took on Holy Cross College where they reigned supreme with a victory of 28-24.

Game 3 they took on the best of the best playing the Australian Schoolboys in a tough match where Yllan came off with a serious arm injury and the French team tasted defeat with a 56-6 loss. The French team confirmed this experience would have not been possible without the support of Apollo Healthcare Technologies Ltd. 

2025 and moving forward – Apollo Healthcare Technologies have already started their  community contribution in supporting grass route sports, which are key for community development, sponsoring Deeping UTD U15’s football team tour to Valkenswaar, Holland where they will compete against the best in Europe.
